  The wicked walk on every side, when the vilest men are exalted. -Psalms 12:8 Good morning and happy hump day to you!  The scripture above is actually new to my arsenal as I examine how boldly those in sin fight an unrighteous battle to force their sin into acceptance.  The scripture literally means that wickedness struts, flaunts itself when it’s entertained. What was previously hidden for shame is abruptly put into the public view.  This is why it is so important not to entertain people in their foolishness. Entertaining adds validation and encourages the person in their sin. This Psalms serves to remind us to be steadfast in Christian values even if society promotes and celebrates behavior contrary to righteousness.  love the sinner not the sin.  #prayforthepeaceofIsrael  God bless you and command your day!!! The scripture above addresses this in no uncertain terms.  Hollywood weighs in on much more than the big screen. In the same tenure there are other laymen who weigh in such as professional athletes and certainly talk show hosts.  These celebrities often engage in discussions about topics well beyond their expertise, without realizing their detachment from the average person's daily life.   Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world. -1 John 4:1 Good morning and happy Monday to you!    When you look closely at the idea of “spirit” in this scripture, it points to direct spiritual influence. However, it’s important to understand that spirits need physical vessels to function within our world. As a result, some individuals — whether aware of it or not — become vessels for malevolent spirits. As believers who have been cleansed by the blood of Christ, it is vital to stay spiritually aware while engaging with the physical world. This requires discerning the nature of the spirits we encounter in order to confront them effectively.   Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap. -Galatians 6:7 Good morning and TGIF! Have you ever plunged into water and come out dry, or touched a live wire and felt no shock? More importantly, understand this: you’ll never truly recognize grace as salvation without first having the faith to believe. It’s not the jump that soaked you, nor the wire that shocked you—it was the choice to engage that led to the outcome, hence the consequences which follow. Grace might delay the consequences, giving space for faith to grow, but grace without faith is as dead as faith without action. Beloved, we often try to separate our choices from their consequences, but such separation doesn’t exist. This is the very warning the scripture above offers us.   I have set the LORD always before me: because he is at my right hand, I SHALL NOT BE MOVED. -Psalms 16:8 Good morning and terrific Thursday to you!    The last part of this scripture captured my attention after writing about it on recently. “I shall not be moved”.  This statement reflects David’s determination to remain steadfast and undistracted. When our minds are firmly made up to stay with God, Scripture affirms that no one can snatch us out of His hand. The Apostle Paul put it this way:  Nothing can separate us  from the love of God. And because God never changes—He is the same yesterday, today, and forever—He remains faithful to His promises and does not delay. So, hold firmly to His Word. Be like a tree planted by streams of water, with deep roots that anchor you.   Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth. -Colossians 3:2 Good morning and happy hump day to you!    Throughout Christ’s earthly ministry, the sentiment reflected in the scripture above was often emphasized.  During the Sermon on the Mount in Matthew 6, Jesus expanded on this idea, teaching that where one’s heart is, there also lies their treasure. In this light, Paul’s words in verse 1 echo Jesus’ teaching. This repetition carries significant weight—especially in Hebrew tradition, where repeating a point underscores its importance. When our priorities are out of alignment, it’s only a matter of time before our loyalties follow.   Saying, Go ye into the village over against you; in the which at your entering ye shall find a colt tied, whereon yet never man sat: loose him, and bring him hither. -Luke 19:30 Good morning and tremendous Tuesday to you! During Passion Week, we witnessed the fulfillment of prophecies regarding Christ, as demonstrated by how effortlessly the disciples found the animal needed for the events. This highlights Jesus's preeminence, as he orchestrated everything in accordance with prophecy.  When Jesus directed the disciples to an unburdened beast of burden, it symbolized that the weight of his mission would be uniquely His to bear.  The choice of such an animal harks back to Jesus's humble birth in Bethlehem, and the peaceful nature of a young colt signifies his initial arrival in peace.   THEREFORE IS JUDGEMENT far from us, neither doth JUSTICE OVERTAKE US: we wait for light, but behold obscurity; for brightness, but we walk in darkness. -Isaiah 59:9 Good morning and happy Monday to you!     The opening of this scripture acts as a double-edged sword—offering a glimmer of hope on both sides, yet delivering judgment in those very same places. People cry out for justice while living in ways that are unjust. They seek unearned grace even as they openly practice habits and uphold morals that are dishonorable in God’s eyes. It echoes the story of the servant who was forgiven a great debt, yet demanded repayment from another who owed him far less. Pilate the Roman Prefect of Judea was in the borrowed palace of Herod the great I Jerusalem, holding court. Outside A crowd had gathered, loudly demanding the release of a prisoner with cries of, “Release Barabbas!” But they could just as easily have said, “Release Jesus,” because, as the historian Josephus records, the full name of the man freed that day was Jesus Barabbas. And so, I pose this question to you today: which Jesus are you choosing? Only five days earlier, many of these same voices had shouted “Hosanna! Glory to the King!” Now, they were calling for His crucifixion. Those who had laid their cloaks before His donkey now stood by as soldiers cast lots for His garments.   And when he was come near, he beheld the city, and wept over it, -Luke 19:41 Good morning and terrific Thursday to you!  As the Lord continued His triumphant entry into the city, the mood shifted, growing heavy with sorrow as tears filled His eyes and fell. In that moment, He spoke of the coming destruction of Jerusalem. Yet His words reached beyond that time, hinting also at a future judgment in our own era. Though the prophecies began to unfold before their eyes, many failed to see or accept them. And when he saw a fig tree in the way, he came to it, and found nothing thereon, but leaves only, and said unto it, Let no fruit grow on thee henceforward for ever. And presently the fig tree withered away. -Matthew 21:19 Good morning and happy hump day to you!  After Jesus’ triumphant entry into Jerusalem the disciples spent the night in Bethany perhaps returning the borrowed donkey.  The following morning, on the way back to Jerusalem, the Lord noticed a fig tree and approached it, expecting to find fruit—a fair expectation, as it was the season for figs. However, instead of fulfilling its natural purpose, the tree stood bare and unproductive. Like the unprepared virgins without oil, the tree failed in its design. So, as a potter does with flawed clay, the Creator returned the vessel to the wheel for reshaping.   Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour: -1 Peter 5:8  Good morning and happy Monday to you!   The Apostle Peter not only encourages us to stay alert but also sheds light on how the enemy operates. He compares the enemy to a roaring lion—an image that holds significance both in the natural world and the spiritual. In the wild, a lion often roars to intimidate its prey, typically when the prey is cornered. The roar itself is terrifying and can cause the prey to freeze, but it does no physical harm on its own. It serves more as a psychological weapon—a bluff meant to provoke hesitation. It’s a fitting metaphor. Spiritually, the enemy employs similar tactics—using fear and intimidation to make us doubt or hesitate in our faith. The lion may not know who it can devour on any given day, but it is always on the hunt. Peter’s reminder is a timely one: don’t give in to fear, but stay alert and aw...

  But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth. -Acts 1:8 Good morning and TGIF! The scripture above contains various elements: an endowment, a commission, a CHALLENGE, and an INVITATION. This challenge is dual in its nature. The sent as well as the ones they are sent to. The challenger being this world system which vies for the heart of us all. The sent must always have at the forefront of their effort the purpose which they were sent. The sent carries the invitation and is challenged.
