But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth. -Acts 1:8


Good morning and TGIF! The scripture above contains various elements: an endowment, a commission, a CHALLENGE, and an INVITATION.


This challenge is dual in its nature. The sent as well as the ones they are sent to. The challenger being this world system which vies for the heart of us all.


The sent must always have at the forefront of their effort the purpose which they were sent. The sent carries the invitation and is challenged. The sent must receive the endowment, accept the commission, facedown the challenge, and freely share the invitation. 


Go fellowship this weekend, we all need it.

His mission had multiple purposes, and I will highlight two of them. First, we needed an example of righteousness—someone conceived without sin and who lived a sinless life.
