Good morning and terrific Thursday to you! 

As the Lord continued His triumphant entry into the city, the mood shifted, growing heavy with sorrow as tears filled His eyes and fell.


In that moment, He spoke of the coming destruction of Jerusalem. Yet His words reached beyond that time, hinting also at a future judgment in our own era.


Though the prophecies began to unfold before their eyes, many failed to see or accept them. The signs that went unnoticed on that historic day closely mirror the clear and unfolding signs we witness in our time.

His mission had multiple purposes, and I will highlight two of them. First, we needed an example of righteousness—someone conceived without sin and who lived a sinless life. Next, because of His immaculate conception and sinless existence, He was qualified to be sacrificed. This requirement was too great for sinful man to fulfill.
