Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. -Psalms 23:4 Good morning and TGIF! A friend once shared that to truly appreciate the view from the mountaintop, one must first understand the perspective from the valley. In the scripture above, David experienced both the highs and lows of life. With this understanding, he saw how God could lift him from the humble role of a shepherd in the valley to a place of prominence, where kings issued commands and priests declared decrees. If you find yourself in a valley today, remember that this season is preparing you to fully appreciate the mountain moments ahead. Go fellowship this weekend, we all need it.  #prayforthepeaceofIsrael God bless you and command your day!!! Your comments and questions are welcome.   Behold, I have created the smith that bloweth the coals in the fire, and that bringeth forth an instrument for his work; and I have created the waster to destroy. -Isaiah 54:16 Good morning and terrific Thursday to you!   The scripture above reaffirms God as the creator of all. The smith is a term which is applied to almost any skilled craft. This person has been created with a skill set that developed over time, allows them to go into a workshop independent of help knowing how to use the tools therein.  From his skill, with the right tool is shaped the weapon/s. The craftsman does not necessarily use the weapon, he may not be skilled in its use.  Beloved do not miss that the enemy uses others that he equips to attack, but even they were created by the Lord and are subject to His word.  #prayforthepeaceofIsrael God bless you and command your day!!!   Behold, they shall surely gather together, but not by me: whosoever shall gather together against thee shall fall for thy sake. -Isaiah 54:15  Good morning and happy hump day to you!    The verse preceding the well-known scripture in verse 17 reveals the moment when the weapon begins to take shape. The components necessary for the weapon to succeed come together with the intention of causing harm. It’s important to note that these elements are not naturally drawn to one another; rather, they are deliberately assembled by someone with the purpose of destruction. The scripture uses the word “surely,” indicating that this process is inevitable. However, God’s grace assures us that while the weapon may be formed and the adversaries may gather, both their plans and the weapon will ultimately fail. #prayforthepeaceofIsrael God bless you and command your day!!!   I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me. -Philippians 4:13 Good morning and tremendous Tuesday to you! The scripture above is familiar to many and often applied selectively—only when it aligns with personal convenience or satisfies the desires of the flesh. But how can one genuinely uphold this scripture while disregarding the principle in  Colossians 3:23 : “And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men”? Far too often, we act based on what is comfortable or pleasing to us. If we like the “boss,” we work diligently and put in the necessary effort. However, when our personal preferences or feelings interfere, our work and attitude may falter. Scripture offers clear guidance on the morality of work, harmonizing these principles. Winning others to Christ is challenging enough without reducing our efforts to vanity or superficial service.  When we allow personal biases or preferences to dictate how we approach our secular work, we...
For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. -Romans 10:10 Good morning and happy Monday to you!    This scripture comes from what is called the Roman Roadmap.  It is a pivotal moment that marks the realization of salvation in a believer’s life. The term “confession” has often been stripped of its true power, reduced to the legal notion of an admission of guilt. However, in this context, confession is more akin to a testimony—a surrender, a renunciation, and a bold declaration for all to hear. It proclaims that the Lord has transformed your life, and you are now living in that transformation. Salvation enters through your ears, takes root in your heart, and expressed as a confession from your lips. #prayforthepeaceofIsrael God bless you and command your day!!!   And I Daniel fainted, and was sick certain days; afterward I rose up, and did the king's business; and I was astonished at the vision, but none understood it. -Daniel 8:27 Good morning and TGIF! The story highlights the prophet Daniel, deeply troubled after receiving visions of Israel’s judgment and the nation’s subjugation under the pagan ruler Nebuchadnezzar. The weight of these revelations made him physically ill. Despite his distress and likely not feeling his best, Daniel rose to fulfill his duties to the king. The lesson here is clear: regardless of how we perceive our circumstances—whether through a spiritual lens or a natural one—we should not allow situations beyond our control to hinder us from completing the tasks we are entrusted with. As Daniel served the earthly king, he remained mindful that his ultimate service was to the King of Kings. Similarly, we should approach even our secular responsibilities with the mindset of serving Christ through our work. Go fellowshi...
And the four beasts had each of them six wings about him; and they were full of eyes within: and they rest not day and night, saying, Holy, holy, holy, Lord God Almighty, which was, and is, and is to come. -Revelation 4:8 Good morning and terrific Thursday to you! The scripture above contains worshipful meaning as the creatures of heaven provide deserved reverence of our God!  The persona actuality of God is given as the framework of time is overburdened with his His mastery of such things. Knowing that God doesn’t exist in time should encourage us to know how timely He really is… The beings in heaven do as the 24 Elders, and the seraphim who cry out continuously attesting of His glory. The lesson here is that everything testifies of the majesty of God as should we all!  #prayforthepeaceofIsrael God bless you and command your day!!! Your comments and questions are welcome. Judge not according to the appearance, but judge righteous judgment. -John 7:24 Good morning and happy hump day to you! Today’s culture often elevates falsehoods to the status of truth, creating an era marked by excessive tolerance, where truth is suppressed and mislabeled as hate. This is a time of spiritual blindness and lack of discernment, evident in the mischaracterization of righteousness. The scripture referenced highlights this blindness, as Christ warns us of the limitations of relying solely on natural senses for discernment. As the bride of Christ, we are called to recognize threats to the Kingdom. Since spiritual intentions are often reflected in natural actions, it is our responsibility to remain spiritually vigilant and discerning. #prayforthepeaceofIsrael God bless you and command your day!!!   And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to the which also ye are called in one body; and be ye thankful. -Colossians 3:15 Good morning and tremendous Tuesday to you! The passage emphasizes the importance of what governs your heart, which ultimately stems from your thoughts. Whatever occupies your mind—whether it’s hate, hope, uncertainty, faith, fear, courage, peace, or discord—will shape and rule your heart. If you desire peace to reside in your heart, focus your thoughts on it. Not just any peace, but the peace that comes from God—a peace rooted in His divine authority and assurance. When God revealed Himself to Moses as “I Am,” or when He spoke creation into existence, it was done with absolute confidence and peace. This same peace allowed Christ to sleep soundly during a raging storm and to calmly command it to be still. He used the word “peace” to bring order and prevent further chaos. When we align our minds with Christ and embrace our identity in Him, peace becomes o...
Some trust in chariots, and some in horses: but we will remember the name of the LORD our God. -Psalms 20:7 Good morning and happy Monday to you!    What a declaration on this day, given to such superstitious lure that many curtail or halt the usual course of their lives.  We are all bombarded daily with challenges to our trust in God. Every median is used TV, radio, social media and more. All having in common a goal to detour our trust.  As stated by the psalmist some have their trust detoured to horses, whilst others to chariots. The question comes down to who do you trust? Beloved as the Psalmist was, we should be, Let our trust always be in the Lord!   #prayforthepeaceofIsrael God bless you and command your day!!!   And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.              -Philippians 4:7 Good morning and TGIF! What is the peace of God? Most count His peace ever so slightly in reference to facing challenges in relationships, but it is so much more.  God’s peace is provided in our faith. His peace doesn’t allow us to walk in fear and removes our tendency to question our standing in Him.  His peace allows you to face anything and fully embrace a Romans 8:28 mantra (All things work together…).  Abraham had peace when asked to sacrifice Isaac by saying God will provides and afterward saying God does provide.  Peace never comes unless you have faith because it is a by product of a long term relationship and a life lived under the shadow of God.  On this day increase in faith so that your peace defies your understanding and that of everybody you encounter. Go fellowship thi...
Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee. -Isaiah 26:3 Good morning and terrific Thursday to you!   How does peace truly surpass understanding? One way to think about it is that when your understanding transforms into faith, you begin to grasp the essence of peace. True peace goes far beyond a simple truce, a negotiated agreement, or a treaty. These are conditional arrangements, reliant on the actions, honesty, and intentions of opposing parties, often bound by situational or equal power dynamics. But our peace is covenant and covenants are not quid pro quo. It isn’t based on a “fair exchange” like a day’s work for a day’s pay. Scripture reminds us that our focus shapes our peace. When you focus on God, your faith deepens. This increased faith brings greater understanding, which produces godly joy—and it is from this joy that true peace flows. #prayforthepeaceofIsrael God bless you and command your day!!!   Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. -Hebrews 11:1 Good morning and happy hump day to you!  Do trust and faith have the same meaning? Are they two peas in a pod or is Faith the pod which holds peas such as hope, joy, peace and trust? I argue that faith is the pod which nourishes, protects, and produces those peas. Because with the pod called Faith the peas develop or remain viable.  The purpose of trust is the tangible seen requirements we need such as protection and substance.   It is interesting how the pea comes into being before the pod grows around it. But consider that grace is required before faith can come and exposures and experiences build trust, hope, joy, and peace; all which are covered in the pod called faith.  After you have experienced his love and the fruit of faith grows, that overarching shell called the pod (faith) keeps it all together.  #prayforthepeaceofIsrael God bless you and comman...
