For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. -Romans 10:10


Good morning and happy Monday to you!  This scripture comes from what is called the Roman Roadmap. 


It is a pivotal moment that marks the realization of salvation in a believer’s life.


The term “confession” has often been stripped of its true power, reduced to the legal notion of an admission of guilt.


However, in this context, confession is more akin to a testimony—a surrender, a renunciation, and a bold declaration for all to hear. It proclaims that the Lord has transformed your life, and you are now living in that transformation.


Salvation enters through your ears, takes root in your heart, and expressed as a confession from your lips.

His mission had multiple purposes, and I will highlight two of them. First, we needed an example of righteousness—someone conceived without sin and who lived a sinless life. Next, because of His immaculate conception and sinless existence, He was qualified to be sacrificed. This requirement was too great for sinful man to fulfill.
