Behold, they shall surely gather together, but not by me: whosoever shall gather together against thee shall fall for thy sake. -Isaiah 54:15 


Good morning and happy hump day to you!  The verse preceding the well-known scripture in verse 17 reveals the moment when the weapon begins to take shape. The components necessary for the weapon to succeed come together with the intention of causing harm.


It’s important to note that these elements are not naturally drawn to one another; rather, they are deliberately assembled by someone with the purpose of destruction.


The scripture uses the word “surely,” indicating that this process is inevitable. However, God’s grace assures us that while the weapon may be formed and the adversaries may gather, both their plans and the weapon will ultimately fail.
