Give unto the LORD the glory due unto his name; worship the LORD in the beauty of holiness. -Psalms 29:2 Good morning and TGIF! How delightful it is to engage in worship. From birth, humans carry an intrinsic longing—a deep desire to understand their true identity. As we confront the limits of self-awareness, this longing often leads us to seek something greater than ourselves. Throughout my walk with Christ, I’ve encountered many who’ve shared this inner yearning. Their pursuit of meaning led them down various paths—drugs, rebellion, the occult—yet none brought lasting fulfillment. It was only in encountering Christ that they found genuine purpose and satisfaction. When asked to sum up their newfound joy in a single word, many say simply:  beautiful. Worshiping the Lord awakens something innate within us, drawing us back to the divine source of our existence. This sacred reconnection can only be described as profoundly beautiful. #pray1Tim2  Go fellowship this weekend,...
The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God. They are corrupt, they have done abominable works, there is none that doeth good. -Psalms 14:1 Good morning and terrific Thursday to you! In a real legal case, an atheist filed a lawsuit against a school for permitting and encouraging students to pray. The judge dismissed the case, referencing the relevant scripture by chapter and verse but intentionally chose not to quote the text directly. The plaintiff’s attorney, uncertain about the reference, found a Bible for the client and read the passage. Upon revisiting the scripture, I was struck again by how defiantly and, at times, arrogantly some atheists respond to the authority of God. In their hearts, they may hope that no accountability exists for their actions. To rationalize ongoing behavior, they sometimes attempt to spread skepticism or disdain toward moral principles rooted in the Bible. Beloved be aware of those who use their influence to separate you from your faith. ...
And he said unto them, When ye pray, say, Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done, as in heaven, so in earth. -Luke 11:2 Good morning and happy hump day to you!  The most prolific and foundational prayer ever begins here in Luke 11. The disciples had been observing the Lord Jesus praying and after He completed they asked Him to be taught to pray.  I’ve seen praying folks who seem to know how to get a breakthrough and they being merely mortal, how much more impactful it is to see God the Son praying.  In His prayer are all the elements needed to breakthrough. Humility, humanity, faith, goals and love.  Further the Lord knowing the current state of the world is/was not kingdom, but fallen, He hasten the Lord to manifest the Kingdom on earth in similitude to heaven.  These words set the course for the direction of the premier prayer and for those who feel they do not know how to pray, pray this prayer and it w...
Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ: -Philippians 1:6 Good morning and tremendous Tuesday to you! The Apostle Paul’s mindset while facing death is truly remarkable. Despite his dire circumstances, neither his confidence nor his trust in the fulfillment of the Lord’s plan wavered. Even when we feel we’ve reached our limit or are confronted with overwhelming challenges, there may still be opportunities for growth and meaningful purpose ahead. Paul’s story illustrates that what seemed like the end of his mission was actually a new beginning—evident in the impactful letters he was yet to write. Through his example, Paul affirmed the unwavering faithfulness of God, showing that the Lord always brings His purposes to fruition. Beloved, because God remains the same, you can trust that He will continue to carry out His plans for your life to completion. #pray1Tim2  God bless you and command your day!!...
O our God, wilt thou not judge them? for we have no might against this great company that cometh against us; neither know we what to do: but our eyes are upon thee. -2 Chronicles 20:12 Good morning and happy Monday to you! The scripture above highlights a crucial principle of communication: it is a two-way street, with messages flowing in both directions. Too often, our prayers involve us doing all the talking without giving space for the Lord to respond. Yet, when God answers, His response typically brings feedback, guidance, and encouragement. In this familiar story, King Jehoshaphat opened his heart to God, laying out his concerns in prayer. But what’s especially important is that his supplication made room for a response—a space for God to speak. This openness is captured in the final sentence of the scripture: “but our eyes are upon thee.” This phrase implies more than just watching—it suggests that their ears were also open, expectantly waiting for feedback, direction, enco...
For he shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways. -Psalms 91:11 Good morning and TGIF! The scripture above has always been such a great comfort to me personally.  In times of trouble, danger, despair or need I hasten to it for the assured comfort promised by the Lord. It has a way of providing comfort during the storms of life we all face.  God the Father literally places an Angel on assignment to help us. They comfort, protect, bring messages, and more.  The only caveat is that He obligates Himself within a relationship, so your ways must show relationship. Go fellowship this weekend, we all need it.    #pray1Tim2  God bless you and command your day!!! Your comments and questions are welcome.   Then touched he their eyes, saying, According to your faith be it unto you. -Matthew 9:29 Good morning and terrific Thursday to you! The scripture above comes from the story of the Lord healing two blind men. The men began following Him having heard I am sure through the murmuring of the crowd the He walked among them.  The two pillars needed to support the receipt of a blessing are demonstrated by the men. Hearing (listening/harking) and belief.  They heard and then they acted based on their belief. Their action of belief is validated by the Lord as He said…According to your FAITH, be it unto you.” Beloved FAITH comes by hearing and what you hear determines what you believe (hence gate guard duty), so the importance of intakes influence on outcome is further solidified.  #pray1Tim2    God bless you and command your day!!!   And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity. -Matthew 7:23 Good morning and happy hump day to you! In this scripture Jesus is speaking to who He called hypocrites. Ones who feigned a relationship in the public eye but didn’t really strive in all the tenets such as praying, fasting, serving.  In this statement the Lord is in no way denying His omniscience but instead is calling your works iniquitous or strange fire. So the answer is Yes He knows you by your works and your works or lack of will deny your entrance.  #prayforthepeaceofIsrael  God bless you and command your day!!! And when he saw a fig tree in the way, he came to it, and found nothing thereon, but leaves only, and said unto it, Let no fruit grow on thee henceforward for ever. And presently the fig tree withered away. -Matthew 21:19 Good morning and tremendous Tuesday to you. After Jesus’ triumphant entry into Jerusalem the disciples spent the night in Bethany perhaps returning the borrowed donkey.  The next    morning on the return trip to Jerusalem, the Lord spotted a fig tree which He approached expecting it to have produced fruit, a reasonable expectation given it was the figs season.  But instead of doing what it and only it was designed to do, the tree lay dormant and bare. And finding the tree without, Jesus told it to forever be fruitless. And then it died.  Leaving Jerusalem that evening Peter marveled that the very tree had dried up. Beloved when you work against your purpose, your effort may result in leaves but no fruit. And bearing no fruit, you die.  It ...
Neither shall thy name any more be called Abram, but thy name shall be Abraham; for a father of many nations have I made thee. -Genesis 17:5 Good morning and happy Monday to you!   Beloved the Bible teaches that a good name is more valued than riches.  A good name brings enrichment, protection, and overall benefits. In the story where the aforementioned scripture is found, the Lord doesn't just change Abram's name; He elevates it. This elevation signifies the Lord's greater purpose in the lives of Abraham and Sarah.  One the other things the Lord spoke was that Abraham would be the father of many nations. Gods plan implemented would use them to bless the earth.  God adds to your life in His perfect timing, and whatever He has instructed you to wait for will undoubtedly be worth it.    His increase can change the trajectory and characterization of your life.  #pray1Tim2:1-4 God bless you and command your day!!!   Knowing this, it is no wonder we are told in all things give thanks (1 Thess 5:18) we are told also to joy in tribulations (Rms 5:3).  Good morning and TGIF! A songwriter said it this way “Praise confuses the enemy”. Some of us are like mood rings and present our deepest thoughts on the surface.  Beloved follow the example of many who have come before us such as Paul and Silas and sing the loudest when you are going through.  Go fellowship this weekend, we all need it.  #prayforthepeaceofIsrael  God bless you and command your day!!!   Thou knowest my downsitting and mine uprising, thou understandest my thought afar off. -Psalms 139:2 Good morning and terrific Thursday to you!    Despite common belief, the enemy cannot read your mind. What he does possess is a strong ability to predict human behavior, drawing from patterns and generational weaknesses that have led past family members to stumble. It’s important to recognize that the scripture above attributes this kind of deep understanding solely to the Lord, and every verse leading up to it affirms how intimately He knows us. Again, the enemy does  not  have access to your thoughts. What he  can  observe, however, is your body language, recall your past behaviors, and make educated guesses about your future actions. #prayforthepeaceofIsrael  God bless you and command your day!!!
