The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God. They are corrupt, they have done abominable works, there is none that doeth good. -Psalms 14:1

Good morning and terrific Thursday to you! In a real legal case, an atheist filed a lawsuit against a school for permitting and encouraging students to pray.

The judge dismissed the case, referencing the relevant scripture by chapter and verse but intentionally chose not to quote the text directly. The plaintiff’s attorney, uncertain about the reference, found a Bible for the client and read the passage.

Upon revisiting the scripture, I was struck again by how defiantly and, at times, arrogantly some atheists respond to the authority of God.

In their hearts, they may hope that no accountability exists for their actions. To rationalize ongoing behavior, they sometimes attempt to spread skepticism or disdain toward moral principles rooted in the Bible.

Beloved be aware of those who use their influence to separate you from your faith.
