Part C of Psalms 1:1, is for those whose tongues are the rudder of ruin for others and themselves.  James spoke of the tongue as the smallest yet most impactful member of the body. Without it talking is virtually impossible, proper nourishment strenuously painful, smelling harder, and even breathing without it would be very difficult.  The tongue regulates much in the body, so it stands to reason we must regulate it.  The biggest lie of the enemy goes “Sticks and stones...” you know the rest.  No other part of the body except the heart is spoken of more, as the tongue is has a responsibility in the natural and certainly the spiritual for the hearts health.  As I write this on the radio is a so...

I have seen some who seem to take it to mean, “if they want to sin, I won’t get in their way”, literally choosing not to acknowledge known sin is not what that scripture is referring to. Having that approach is to be an enablers.  Standing in the way is speaking of not getting caught up with what someone steeped in sin is doing. As some know I have never been one to criticize and for good reason, having endured great criticism has allowed my compassion to grow... It is amazing what you miss for years until God!!!  Anyway...Faith is more than the anti-thesis of fear...Faith is a jewel on the crown of God.    Walking by faith Abraham though his physical eyes or natural mind could not conceive that as far as he walked his children could have.  But faith requires our obedience, our patience and our work. Who does anything unless there are going to be benefits either selfish or unselfish?  Doing things regardless of who is blessed is Godly and obedient. But as you work towards achieving, a faithful person is also a patient person, knowing that fast baked bread is half baked bread.   Finally our works ...

As I read this scripture this morning one word which jumped out was the word “without”.  Without, you will be without. Thought life and faith should never be separate. Because thought life is not invisible to the invisible God. The Bible says He sees our thoughts from afar.  Meaning we must bring our thought life under what??? Subjection. No God is not the thought police, but your thoughts come forward into action and if action isn’t an indicator of faith, nothing else is.  You have what you say you have, within the will of God and trust me God’s will is that His people lack no needed things.   Choosing rather to suffer affliction with the people of God, than to enjoy the pleasures of sin for a season; -Hebrews 11:25 Good morning and God bless you. I pray this day you are doing well...I have a lot on my mind but I am not at liberty to say it all, because the Lord hasn’t released me to do so.  But He did lead me to the scripture above and I see it as a warning to the church which is heavily on my heart.  The scripture above is applicable to the old sales tactic of bait and switch. In it you are drawn in by what looks too good to be true. When car salesmen do so part of their tactics is to make themselves look more enticing by pointing out their best, while pointing at the worst of others.  From a distance all looks great but the slight of hand prevents your examining the merchandise before you fully commit.  We as a nation are on the threshold of our destiny. We are standing looking at two roads, in the fork.  What we must do is choose which road...

I was reading Matthew 24 this morning and took note of how the Lord described the state of the world before the rapture.  My God, what an awful state things will be in or should I say, are in. As the Lord listed out these things in scripture and my heart shuttered I could hear His voice saying don’t lose heart.  My comfort returned and as I searched myself I found Him walking beside me to examine what I felt in my heart.   At the crash site the place where I shuttered, we found my heart was overwhelmed with concern for the unsaved, the unrepentant and the reprobate.   But the ones in the worst place of pain there are those who live a carnal Christian life, the luke warm, curse in one post on FB and not many post hence glorify God. Lets get right into this...The scripture above comes from King Solomon and resonates in my heart shedding light on the impoverishment lie.  When Jesus said it was easier for a camel to get through the eye of a needle than to make it into heaven, He was by no means saying rich folks will not go to heaven.  It was referring to the heart of those who love money and came after He encountered the young nobleman.  Showing that God has no problem with us having wealth as long as it doesn’t have us are many wealthy people in the Bible. One of my favorite endtime prophecies is found in the scripture above.  What is often stated is the relief that God gives us by allowing His spirit to rest on us all. But ever consider why relief is needed?  Ahhh...Reading the whole chapter you will see relief coming as our merciful God is satisfied that punishment has been sufficient for sins committed.  Let’s face it that metaphorically we are Israel, steep in our sins and like the cycle that they undertook we also go through the cycle. Grace, sin, punishment, repentance, mercy, and restoration.  I think that we are somewhere between sin and punishment. I woke this morning for prayer and I have to be honest, the last few weeks I have been saddled with the burden of how far off we as a nation have fallen.  Sometimes I feel like Jeremiah and just want to find my neutral corner and sit all the way down. But just like him, my bones burn with the passion of the word of God and I shiver at the impending cost of disobedience.  I pray so much for the generation coming up as every single description give in the verse above true Christians encounter daily. So much so we could rename  Face Book, Romans 1:29.  So my prayer and request of you my family, congregants and friends is to pray for the young people in your town, country, villa and take accountability to love them enough to not leave them flapping in the wind. As much as we say we trust the Lord we should be making so many decisions out of fear.  There is a such thing as overly cautious. Many problems are caused, exasperated and go unsolved due to lack of courage.  Your approach has to first place the concern in prayer, asking for guidance.    Then attempt to work toward the solution as your mind sees fit, but if your solution dose not solve the issue, hand it all over to the Lord.  Your comments and questions are welcome.
