God bless you and welcome to Monday. Among the many guiding scriptures I hold dear is the one written above. As some know I have never been one to criticize and for good reason, having endured great criticism has allowed my compassion to grow...


There are three things this scripture addresses and over the next three days I will look deeper. 


A. Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly

B. nor standeth in the way of sinners, 

C. nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful.


The scripture really grabbed me and convicted me to be loving, approachable, but to walk as Christ did among sinners urging them to turn. 


Being in the presence of the ungodly is not the same as being in their counsel. As it implies in their counsel is to give advice as part of their consortium or accepting their ungodly advice for self.

  For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. -John 3:17 Good morning and happy Monday to you!  The Lord Jesus came to this world not to condemn us, but to show us what true righteousness is. His mission had multiple purposes, and I will highlight two of them. First, we needed an example of righteousness—someone conceived without sin and who lived a sinless life. Next, because of His immaculate conception and sinless existence, He was qualified to be sacrificed. This requirement was too great for sinful man to fulfill.
