Choosing rather to suffer affliction with the people of God, than to enjoy the pleasures of sin for a season; -Hebrews 11:25

Good morning and God bless you. I pray this day you are doing well...I have a lot on my mind but I am not at liberty to say it all, because the Lord hasn’t released me to do so.

But He did lead me to the scripture above and I see it as a warning to the church which is heavily on my heart.

The scripture above is applicable to the old sales tactic of bait and switch. In it you are drawn in by what looks too good to be true. When car salesmen do so part of their tactics is to make themselves look more enticing by pointing out their best, while pointing at the worst of others.

From a distance all looks great but the slight of hand prevents your examining the merchandise before you fully commit.

We as a nation are on the threshold of our destiny. We are standing looking at two roads, in the fork.

What we must do is choose which road to take. Joshua expressed the point of decision, speaking of the brilliance of the gold idols, the workmanship of the wood and stone artist and the easily gained wealth, all this was Abram’s before he heard the true voice of God and left idolatry for greatness.

After this Joshua contrasted and said as for him and his house. The prophet Moses whom the above scripture is speaking of refused the temporal pleasures of being royalty for the eternal joy of serving the Lord.

These are tough times with tough decisions for some, but easy for those who trust God’s word and see beyond the smoke screens. I admonish that you seek God’s direction for yourself, and its clear in the Bible. God is pro-life, pro-marriage (natural), pro-love, peaceful though powerful.
