For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh: -Romans 8:3

Good morning and TGIF! The anointing on the life of the Apostle Paul was truly distinct — a divine appointment perfectly suited for the era he lived in.

Who else but Paul could so powerfully articulate the contrast between law and grace? The law was given to reveal truth by way of the flesh, pointing us toward the spirit — but it is grace that ultimately surpasses the law in power and purpose.

Beloved, just as our physical bodies have limits, so does our ability to uphold the law. Scripture reminds us that breaking even one part makes us guilty of breaking the whole, in terms of judgment.

No, we can’t live sinlessly in the flesh as Christ did. But we can receive His grace, repent sincerely, and rest in the fact that His sacrifice fully satisfied the debt of sin — once and for all — condemning it forever.

Go fellowship this weekend, we all need it.
