And Jabez called on the God of Israel, saying, Oh that thou wouldest bless me indeed, and enlarge my coast, and that thine hand might be with me, and that thou wouldest keep me from evil, that it may not grieve me! And God granted him that which he requested. -1 Chronicles 4:10
Good morning and tremendous Tuesday to you! In these challenging times, seeking the Lord’s guidance is essential for expanding one’s opportunities and achieving growth. This principle is especially relevant when navigating adversity.
Jabez is thought to have lived during a turbulent period in Israel’s history, possibly in the era of the late Judges or early kingship, marked by instability and conflict.
Generations after Joshua’s commitment to serve the Lord with his household, Jabez stood out as someone who deeply understood the transformative power of prayer in fostering both spiritual and practical well-being.
Regrettably, such a profound understanding and dedication have diminished over time, leaving many unable to connect their life choices with the hardships they face.
Yet, the same God who guided Jabez, enlarged his territory, and blessed his path continues to do the same for those who seek Him today.
