When thou art bidden of any man to a wedding, sit not down in the highest room; lest a more honourable man than thou be bidden of him; -Luke 14:8


Good morning and happy hump day to you! Humility!The power of being humble is so underrated. 


In the parable above the Lord cautions us to not be so high minded that when we are called to take a lower position, we can still do so with dignity. 


A companion scripture in Proverbs instructs us that Pride surely comes before the fall (Prov 16:18). And pride itself is the same reason for the fall of Satan. 


Alternatively the power of humility is given us by James (4:10). Our humility is honored by God and in due season we are lifted.

His mission had multiple purposes, and I will highlight two of them. First, we needed an example of righteousness—someone conceived without sin and who lived a sinless life.
