And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God. -Romans 12:2


Good morning and happy hump day to you! I’ve often said that the two things that sell a product are fear and lust. Take note those things are the key weapons of the enemy.


Fear says “Do not be an outlier and if you are one, then you are in danger”. Fear will make you compare yourself to others to see if you measure up, and if you don’t (you rarely do), what you must do to conform. 


Conformity is a real challenge as the pressure to go along to get along is real. Further since comparison is the thief of joy, any joy you had before dwindles. Hence the importance of a renewed mind and its transforming effect. 


A renewed mind draws us toward being  transformed and having a transforming impact on others. 


God calls us to be transformers! We are to shape others mainly through a Christly example which is showing we have been transformed through our actions and also by our witness. Our witness says I am not the same as I was before nor as the world .

His mission had multiple purposes, and I will highlight two of them. First, we needed an example of righteousness—someone conceived without sin and who lived a sinless life.
