Good morning and tremendous Tuesday to you! The story found in the scripture above is often used by people desiring to justify their own sin. And condemn anyone who calls their sins as the Bible defines sin.
The same will take Matthew 7:1 using only the part where it says judge not, completely or conveniently omitting lest you be judge, this part here means the standard you hold anyone too, you shouldn’t have the same area of sin actively operating in your life.
This is not a edict condemning the Pharisees for calling a sin a sin but rather for them and us to examine self first…remove your own log.
The Lord is calling us to have grace for others the same as His grace covered us when we didn’t acknowledge His amazing love and grace.
