For the eyes of the LORD run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to shew himself strong in the behalf of them whose heart is perfect toward him. Herein thou hast done foolishly: therefore from henceforth thou shalt have wars. -2 Chronicles 16:9
Good morning and terrific Thursday to you! Beloved the well known scripture above is quoted often in part. The first sentence It speaks of how faith moves God while the second sentence tells of the woes of a King of Judah who sought the help of a pagan King and not God. He walked in fear and not faith.
To further infuriate God, the payment came from the temple treasure. So king Asa not only trusted in a pagan King (some trust in…Psalms 20:7), but he used the house of the Lord to fund his fear.
Further the story tells of how when Asa was outnumbered by a much stronger enemy, he trusted God and God then delivered!
Beloved, God actively seeks to prove Himself through His faithful people, in this He gets glory. Your faith gives God glory and His glory draws the blessings.
God bless you and command your day!!!
