28 Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.



29 Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.

Good morning, God bless you, and tremendous Tuesday to you. The scripture above exclaims that sin carries a weight. 


The great invite of Christ beckons those who are weighed down in sin to release it and come to Him, who can so easily lift the weight off them. 


But to let Him lift the weight we have to first know that we are laden down with sin, hence the importance of our own great confession. 


Here we have Jesus telling us that we no longer have to carry the weight of sin, that gives me joy. 


This being the real challenge, the admission. Owning up to needing help is hard when you deal with others but shouldn’t be hard when you deal with the Provider of grace, Christ!

His mission had multiple purposes, and I will highlight two of them. First, we needed an example of righteousness—someone conceived without sin and who lived a sinless life.
