I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvellous are thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well. -Psalms 139:14

God bless you and terrific Thursday.

Someone once called comparison the thief of joy. I am not sure if it can be said better but certainly it applies to us all. We are in a society that constantly assesses itself against what may be false standards.

Thus what someone has done before or currently is being done is compared to what we have done or are doing.

Comparison was a part of the first sin as Satan compared what God said to the lie he told. Comparing what God had for Adam and Eve to the lie that suggested God had not given them a rightful place and authority.

The lie was filled with a “what if”, What if God had not told the truth, what if God was holding them back from becoming gods?

In like manner we see others and say what if? Beloved take to heart that you are who God has made you and the achievements you have not obtained are within your reach, because you are fearfully and wonderfully made.

We all have a place in the stated puzzle of this world and our place is unique because when God made us, the mold was not the same as someone else’s.

Don’t be compared, instead be inspired.

God bless you and command your day!!!
