1 May the LORD answer you in the day of trouble! May the name of the God of Jacob protect you!  -Psalms 29


God bless you and tremendous Tuesday to you. David here is praising God for His steadfastness in time of trouble. As one who has seen the hand of the Lord in His life, He is commending others to trust in the Lord and He will send help. 


This help is based in your faithfulness, literally the deposits of faith you have made into your account. Not to say mercy and grace doesn’t extend credit but isn’t there always a credit limit?  


My question is which help will God provide you, the help of His grace or the help of one who has faithfully made deposits? 


You can draw more from your deposits of your own than you can from credit that you are borrowing.

His mission had multiple purposes, and I will highlight two of them. First, we needed an example of righteousness—someone conceived without sin and who lived a sinless life.
