Good morning and Terrific Tuesday. The scriptures above is looking out on a present day society full of opportunities and the equipment readily available for self promotion. 

Nary a device exist that does not take video and or pictures. Cameras exist on traffic control devices, in retail security systems, and home security systems, capturing our every move.  

This said even if public media collectors doesn’t capture your act, you can stage and capture your own alms via personal devices. 

Some are particularly talented and use their gifts meticulously to get us to “look at them”.  What seemed to be selfless acts are seen for what they are, shameless public image building. 

Even with these challenges before us the powerful medians provide an unmatched method of sharing our salvation and getting others to the cause of Christ.

This one is a real struggle for Pastors especially in the post-Covid era of church attendance.

So with a humble spirit that checks the purpose behind sharing be it for Christ, to accuse, cast shade and or compare, carefully use the gift of media wisely. It is certainly a fine balancing act which should keep you on your face before God.
