Then the king answered and said, Give her the living child, and in no wise slay it: she is the mother thereof. -1 Kings 3:27


Good morning and terrific Tuesday to you. 


Ever notice that a lie speaks loud and tries to force its self into the place of truth, but try as it may truth doesn’t allow it room. 


In the story that the above scripture is found. One mother had no regard for the child as hers was dead and she had replaced hers with the living child. Solomon to uncover the truth put them to a test. 


As soon as he had spoke to split the child in two, the real mother calmly spoke saying to give the child to the mother of the deceased child. 


She would rather the child live, whereas the other mother vigorously advocated for the Kings command to be carried out. 


The other mother was loud, unkind, lacked compassion and was lying. It seems that when someone is lying they will become those for-mentioned things. 


But truth speaks steadily and if truth is audited even years later the story remains the same, but a lie changes with the time. 


Being truthful requires conviction to see it and the resolve to speak it. Truth walks slowly, speaks firmly with a calm voice and serves faithfully. Speak truth and so fulfill the expectation of the Lord.
