And there sat in a window a certain young man named Eutychus, being fallen into a deep sleep: and as Paul was long preaching, he sunk down with sleep, and fell down from the third loft, and was taken up dead. -Acts 20:9

God bless you, good morning and TGIF. There is a fallacy in the body of Christ, where people are more concerned with the delivery than the item delivered.

Imagine waiting for that one Amazon order that you can’t live without and though you have PRIME it still takes what seems forever to get that treasure.

The day of delivery and wouldn’t you know it there is a great storm blowing, but despite the rain you wait and track, track and wait.

Finally you hear the sound of the truck pulling up and of course observe the delivery person. As they get out of their they drop the package in the yard.

Immediately you react opening the door    and usher in the delivery man while leaving the package outside.

It seems inconceivable but such is the state of the church. It is debatable if the young man in the scripture above  grew weary of the delivered message, but many great messages fall victim to yawns and snores.

The state indicates charisma has taken the front seat and talent has trumped truth, now the deliverer has become more important than that delivered.

Beloved  use discernment to ascertain the role of the deliverer, the packaging and for sure the package.

Go fellowship this Sunday, we all need it.
