God bless you and good morning! Yes it is Monday again! If you are still among us breathing and able to read, it is an indication of the goodness of the Lord.
This morning during prayer one of the intercessors prayed that we not only would be given sight, but revelation.
To be honest that jumped onto me so that I wanted to write about that this morning.
Sight and revelation...differences?
In the scripture above is a great example of sight, that is the natural sense of perceiving what can obviously be seen by anyone, versus what is perceived and understood.
A toddler can identify that words are on paper, but if that child has not been taught how to read, they will not know what is being said, further if that same child has been taught the phonics of pronunciation then they can pronounce but does that give them the understanding of what’s pronounced?
No, not unless the word and it’s meaning are common. In the instance above the king saw words, perhaps he could pronounce them, but he did not know what had been written. Not only is it important to pronounce words, but we must know the meaning and even the order is important.

This is why we must be in a relationship with the Lord along with the studying of the word. When you fail to do so, you can miss the obvious.
