Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God. -John 3:3

God bless and good morning. Once again Happy Monday. Wow how time flies we are in yet another month. As I consider how rapidly the clock is running my mind goes to the great obedience needed.

Though I say great that may be a misnomer because as time and events unfold, it is becoming obvious and though the importance of the effort to get others is not lessened, it certainly shouldn’t be as difficult. Yet scripture expresses the hardness of heart of mankind.

If those in hell could speak they would implore us to get saved as well as those in heaven would do the same.

Jesus spoke of being born again for this very purpose. Many have situational salvation and try to pass it off as that change that is evident in the born again. “Being born again is not I got excited for the moment, but then returned to my old ways when it wore off.” It is not I was in trouble and just needed help for that moment.”

It is the initial change that comes with the commitment to not give up and the effort required to grow daily in a relationship with Christ.
