To stop it, an act of obedience was required. Following the instructions given through the prophet, David sought a place to offer a sacrifice. He arrived at the threshing floor of Araunah, where the angel had ceased his destruction, intending to build an altar there.   For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. -John 3:17 Good morning and happy Monday to you!  The Lord Jesus came to this world not to condemn us, but to show us what true righteousness is. His mission had multiple purposes, and I will highlight two of them. First, we needed an example of righteousness—someone conceived without sin and who lived a sinless life. Next, because of His immaculate conception and sinless existence, He was qualified to be sacrificed. This requirement was too great for sinful man to fulfill.
