Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come. -John 16:13

Good morning and God bless you. My silky Terrier Samson is aging, he will be 14 this year. With aging comes the issues such as hearing and his main issue is blindness.

When I let him out for a potty break, I have on more than one occasion opened the screen door and he runs into the wall next to the door.

Then when I let him in...if he has ventured too far from the door he gets lost in the back yard.

Too further complicate his life (which is what he is thinking) I have been doing projects at home and the screen porch; his path in and out for potty have my tools everywhere.

And this complication has set the stage for many adventures of getting him in and out the door.

Our latest adventure sparked my memory of the scripture above. Samson like us run into obstacle that we can’t see in the natural because those objects are spiritually created and empowered.

In Samson’s case I have moved things around and his normal path is greatly cluttered.

One large object in his way was a table saw. He bumped into first the left corner, then the middle and finally the right corner before he navigated around it.

Without Holy Spirit we are blind to many hinderances and are constantly bumping into the same object over and over again.

The Lord knew we would be running into some things hidden outside our natural eyes, this is why He refers us to the importance of having Holy Spirit guide us.

I am going to eventually clean up my screen porch but until then Samson will have to sniff, paw and claw his way to the door.
