Make thee an ark of gopher wood; rooms shalt thou make in the ark, and shalt pitch it within and without with pitch. -Genesis 6:14


And this is the fashion which thou shalt make it of: The length of the ark shall be three hundred cubits, the breadth of it fifty cubits, and the height of it thirty cubits. -Genesis 6:15

The Prophet Noah received a task with a timeline spanning over a hundred years from revelation to realization. 


In preparation, he was instructed to construct a colossal vessel capable of sustaining all life on earth. While a smaller vessel would have sufficed for Noah and his family, the ark had to accommodate the future repopulation of the earth. 


The precise measurements emphasized the importance of adhering to the specific instructions provided by the Lord. It underscores the principle of following divine guidance diligently, ensuring protection and shelter during times of adversity, such as the day of rain.
