Make thee an ark of gopher wood; rooms shalt thou make in the ark, and shalt pitch it within and without with pitch. -Genesis 6:14 And this is the fashion which thou shalt make it of: The length of the ark shall be three hundred cubits, the breadth of it fifty cubits, and the height of it thirty cubits. -Genesis 6:15 Good morning and terrific Thursday to you!  The Prophet Noah received a task with a timeline spanning over a hundred years from revelation to realization.  In preparation, he was instructed to construct a colossal vessel capable of sustaining all life on earth. While a smaller vessel would have sufficed for Noah and his family, the ark had to accommodate the future repopulation of the earth.  The precise measurements emphasized the importance of adhering to the specific instructions provided by the Lord. It underscores the principle of following divine guidance diligently, ensuring protection and shelter during times of adversity, such as the day of ra...
For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect. -Matthew 24:24  Good morning and happy hump day to you! The church faces its greatest peril from imitation, which resembles truth but falls short of it. Imitation appears, behaves, and sounds authentic.  However, it inflates egos and invites destruction through pride. Historically, the enemy has used flattery to deceive us. A wise friend once cautioned that the enemy often lurks within, disguising themselves as allies.  Consider: who poses a greater threat, an openly declared adversary or one who cunningly poses as a friend? In our current era, flattery runs rampant.  Genuine worship is tainted by occult practices that invoke a vague notion of god without specifically naming Him; mentioning Jesus or even Yahweh has become taboo to avoid offense.  Beloved, earnestly seek the Lord, not only d...
He hath made every thing beautiful in his time:  also he hath set the world in their heart, so that no man can find out the work that God maketh from the beginning to the end. -Ecclesiastes 3:11 Good morning and tremendous Tuesday to you! Oh what a mighty God we serve. In this chapter, Solomon reflects on the passage of time and the activities it encompasses. The seasonal transitions of life are normal and are assigned gifts within our dominion mandate.  Consequently, in their appointed time, all events contribute positively to our lives. Is not this what the first part of this verse emphasizes?  The Lord has sequenced, orchestrated, organized all things to have a purpose and a moment in time. Your blessings have moments in time and we must recognize those moments, and act in faith within them. When we do…all things will become beautiful! #prayforthepeaceofIsrael God bless you and command your day!!!
To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven: -Ecclesiastes 3:1 Good morning and happy Monday to you!  The Old Sage Solomon teaches us many lessons.    In particular using his wisdom gained through his successes and of course his failures and added to your parenting arsenal would make for strong well adjusted children.  This particular scripture is the beginning of a series that teaches us on the importance of timing. Timing is identified as seasons or time spans to react in certain ways.  He describes seasons to do certain things that can be attributed to your success. We all have these seasons.. We normally see our seasons as present and past.  We, if so gifted see possible future seasons, not withstanding only God knows with clarity your future season. Many either miss their season and fail to enter, or as some do they exit the season before it’s done.  Simply put seek God for your season, diligently and with...
The Pharisee stood and prayed thus with himself, God, I thank thee, that I am not as other men are, extortioners, unjust, adulterers, or even as this publican. -Luke 18:11 Good morning and terrific Thursday to you! In today's era, despite the apparent disregard for the word of God, there is a notable expansion in its accessibility. This expansion has led to a multitude of individuals, both laity and clergy, who possess deep theological knowledge and formal education in the field. I observed this phenomenon years ago when a leader, aiming to motivate one of his ministers, pointed out that several members of the mother’s board held degrees in religion. This remark was intended to encourage the minister to pursue further study. However, a pitfall often encountered by those who answer this call is the risk of adopting a Pharisaic attitude—rigid, doctrinaire, lacking in compassion, and marked by arrogance. The true path to emulating Christ involves not only diligent study to gain appr...
And when the servant of the man of God was risen early, and gone forth, behold, an host compassed the city both with horses and chariots. And his servant said unto him, Alas, my master! how shall we do? -2 Kings 6:15 Good morning and happy hump day to you! Fear fights faith! In the story above we have the servant of Elisha startled by the number in the army of Syria.  He addresses Elisha showing he has been intimidated by what he had seen in the natural. The prophet knew his servant was limited by his natural sight, so Elisha asked the Lord to give Gehazi a glimpse of what was occurring in the spirit.  Natural eyesight has a way of blinding us to the reality of the spirit realm. The spirit realm is like the wind, unseen but yet impactful.  This story is a stark reminder that the Lord operates around us, providing comfort, peace, and protection.  #prayforthepeaceofIsrael God bless you and command your day!!!
For I determined not to know any thing among you, save Jesus Christ, and him crucified. -1 Corinthians 2:2 Good morning and tremendous Tuesday to you! In the passage mentioned, the Apostle Paul addresses the Corinthians, beginning with a humble portrayal of himself.  He sheds the influences of his upbringing and tribal loyalties, avoiding any airs of his potential position as a future High Priest of Israel. Instead, resembling Christ's humility, he sees himself merely as a vessel for dispensing what he's been given.  This sets an example for us to follow, especially when engaging with those less knowledgeable in a subject. Even if we encounter nonsensical ideas, as Paul did on Mars Hill, we should patiently listen, waiting for the right moment to challenge false beliefs. #prayforthepeaceofIsrael God bless you and command your day!!!
