Good morning and terrific Thursday to you! 

The Apostle Paul sums up his passion for Christ in the scripture above. He calls it a pressing! A pressing indicates pressure, and pressure is not limited to a pulling, but also a drawing, even a pushing. 


As Christ draws and continues to draw us, our aspiration should be to be drawn, to be pulled, and exhibit the same desperation to attain Jesus as His passion was to sacrifice His life for us.


You can only press towards Him or away from Him…As you can only serve one Master. 


Beloved, are you persistently seeking? Is your fervor for Him comparable to the four men who literally tore the roof off a house to bring their friend to Jesus? Are you pressing?

  For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. -John 3:17 Good morning and happy Monday to you!  The Lord Jesus came to this world not to condemn us, but to show us what true righteousness is. His mission had multiple purposes, and I will highlight two of them. First, we needed an example of righteousness—someone conceived without sin and who lived a sinless life. Next, because of His immaculate conception and sinless existence, He was qualified to be sacrificed. This requirement was too great for sinful man to fulfill.
