And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another. -Matthew 24:10

Good morning and TGIF! I will own up to one thing that has been said about me…,I can be incredibly offensive. To tell the truth I rarely share my opinion in the content of this, format.

So what some may call offensive, callous, uncaring, brutish or otherwise are things that I share from the word of God. A well-known preacher once stated, "Jesus was popular because He was entertaining." Well, if entertaining people leads to them wanting to stone you, then Jesus was indeed entertaining. The words of Jesus provoked more offense than comfort because the truth that sets you free can be uncomfortable (offensive) during the process.

We are certainly in the day and age that the truth offends. A man who wants to be called by the pronouns attributable to a woman is offended when their true pronoun is used…

A child who decides that (of course through no parental influence) that they are not a boy nor a girl is offended for the sake of their influencing parents.

Despite the offense it may cause, it remains our responsibility to speak the truth. Failing to do so does not demonstrate love, kindness, or understanding; rather, it implies acceptance of falsehood and contributes to cruelty and disdain.

Go fellowship this weekend, we all need it.

God bless you and command your day!!!
