Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses for Christ's sake: for when I am weak, then am I strong. -2 Corinthians 12:10
Good morning and welcome to Fri-Yay! As Paul continues to exclaim the benefits of thorns, he speaks to the understanding of that Father and Creator has of our human fragilities.
In this the Apostle points out the source of true strength and its never ending triumph over physical strength. Our weakness becomes strength when we surrender ourselves to His purpose.
Imagine the pain Christ bore for us so that we could be redeemed and restored before the Father. The carrying of His cross to the point of exhaustion and how He had told the disciples before the crucifixion that anyone who comes after Him should pick up their cross.
It is our responsibility to bear the attention getting weight of infirmities, in reproaches, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses and always lift up His work on the cross.
God bless you and command your day!!!
