Bless the LORD, O my soul, and all that is within me, bless his holy name!
-Psalms 103:1
Good morning and terrific Thursday to you! The scripture above calls on us to put aside any distraction and come in pure worship of the Lord.
The Psalmist is putting a demand on his very soul to worship. Not to allow his soul alone to bask in the joy of worship David places the demand on his body.
By declaring this dedication “all that is within me”, the triune being is called into submission.
Beloved imagine, putting aside all things, and spending time totally submerged in His presence.
Finally David spoke of the importance of reverencing the very name of the Lord! Oh how many neglect or even profane His name. The benefits of blessing the Lord are too precious and powerful to not embrace.
God bless you and command your day!!!
