Good morning and tremendous Tuesday to you! Bold statement follows…Sometimes He (God) will purposely lead you to bitter water. Bible scholars all over FaceBook world are now scratching their heads. 


A very common ailment among the ancient Egyptians was a disease caused by a deficiency of essential minerals called schistosomiasis (bilharziasis). 


That lack of mineral content allowed tape worms to flourish in the digestive track. So if this was common among Egyptians, it is reasonable to believe Israel and some Egyptians that departed with them were impacted. 


Israel had been just days out of captivity and perhaps just three days since the parting of the Red Sea. The had marched and had found no water. Then three days in they found water but…it was bitter. 


Scholars have been able to determine that the cause of the bitter water was mineral content. Some see it now, but some still haven’t tied together the pieces…


To prevent you from hurting yourself let me explain. The scripture above is the one that the healing name of Jehovah, Rapha originates from, Jehovah Rapha had led Israel to their Cod Liver Oil (IYKYK), and they didn’t even know it! 


And if anyone know about liquid medicines you have to stir or shake. The stirrer used by God was a tree He pointed out to Moses…For the sake of time and text…God has purpose in all things to include things that are unpalatable to you.
