And they were instant with loud voices, requiring that he might be crucified. And the voices of them and of the chief priests prevailed. -Luke 23:23


Good morning and TGIF! The scripture above is a glimpse into the heart of evil. 

The religious establishment in an effort to silence Jesus incited the people to shout and riot if needed to release an evil man, to literally choose Barabbas over Jesus. 


Because what Jesus said and what He did didn’t agree with the lying hearts of the synagogue leaders, He, the truth was marked for death. 


Some will shout down the truth and rather the truth die which doesn’t agree with sin so that the lie which does, can live. 


But three days after lie celebrated what seemed like a battle won, Truth arose, returned and celebrated victory in the war of the ages, death was defeated!
