The scripture here is often confusing to babes in Christ as it seems to conflict with James 1:13. 


A conflict doesn’t exists as the permissive will of God may allow you to freely choose temptation but He will never lead you there. 


The Lord Jesus then declared the truth of God’s eternal sovereignty saying the pinnacle of power is the Lord and His Kingship eternal.

His mission had multiple purposes, and I will highlight two of them. First, we needed an example of righteousness—someone conceived without sin and who lived a sinless life.
