I will plant in the wilderness the cedar, the shittah tree, and the myrtle, and the oil tree; I will set in the desert the fir tree, and the pine, and the box tree together: -Isaiah 41:19

Good morning and TGIF! This odd sounding scripture really captured my attention. Odd mainly because of its placement.

Why would the Lord talk of planting trees? And further why those particular trees in those climates? Both climates didn’t seem pristine for vegetation of any kind, let alone mighty trees some which produce oils thus requiring more moisture.

As I took just one tree mentioned (pine), and researched a typical pine seeing if it could grow in the desert. I found that only by modern understanding could any pine grow in the desert. In the time frame of the writing of this scripture it was not plausible to grow any pine in the desert.

This is so typically applicable of our God. He gives understanding of old to the new mind set that is skewered towards doubt.

Beloved perhaps your climate is desert and you require a pine in the middle of it. Our God is one who calls something out of nothing, dropping the the IM from possible and confounding the logical and natural mind! Simply put He can turn an oblivion to an oasis.

Go fellowship this weekend, we all need it.

God bless you and command your day!!!
