Good morning and happy New Year to you!

This scripture above is one which traditionally has started my year. 


In it the Lord exercises His sovereignty. God is truly doing new things. This year will open our eyes both physically as well as spiritually. 


Things are not going to be business as usual. Oddities will be the normal. As a Christian we are to be ready to give an account of our faith to others and surely the events of this year will call for our witness to be sharp and defensible.

  For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. -John 3:17 Good morning and happy Monday to you!  The Lord Jesus came to this world not to condemn us, but to show us what true righteousness is. His mission had multiple purposes, and I will highlight two of them. First, we needed an example of righteousness—someone conceived without sin and who lived a sinless life. Next, because of His immaculate conception and sinless existence, He was qualified to be sacrificed. This requirement was too great for sinful man to fulfill.
