Take heed that ye do not your alms before men, to be seen of them: otherwise ye have no reward of your Father which is in heaven. -Matthew 6:1



Good morning and tremendous Tuesday to you! Humility is a word often taken for granted and certainly out of context. To be perfectly frank many who call themselves humble aren’t,  and go about seeking attention for themselves.


The Lord addressed this in the scripture above and in other scriptures that spoke against the sanctimonious Temple Leaders. 


They would often do all they could to bring attention to their giving. Simply because they wanted to be seen. 


Many charitable things are done that ultimately are great blessings but the heart is revealed in the giver, organizer or perpetuator presenting  their alms via social media. 


Beloved it simply a matter of the heart, did you do it to be seen by God or man or did it come from a charitable place in your heart?  And yes God knows.
