And immediately Jesus stretched forth his hand, and caught him, and said unto him, O thou of little faith, wherefore didst thou doubt? -Matthew 14:31
“Lessons from the storm.”
Good morning and happy hump day to you!
The scripture above is found in the story of the Lord walking on the Sea of Galilee. Having been spotted Peter asked to walk on the sea to Him. While doing so Peter began to sink and as the Lord saved him, He was rebuked for having little faith.
That background given what I want to point out is something I saw in a previous event before the windstorm that may have facilitated the windstorm.
The Lord had just fed over 5k with 5 loaves of bread and two fish. And He had the disciples gather the remnants which filled 12 baskets or one for each disciple.
I surmise that the enemy saw the work and wanted to delay, even destroy the workers. So sitting in their boat with the meal Jesus had given in their belly or in their basket were men whose faith should have been off the chart but a little wind had shaken them.
The point here is that whenever you do something for the Lord that is beyond what would have naturally occurred, the enemy will come after your faith.
That said beloved hold on to that faith charged by what the Lord has done and with expectancy trust that He is an on time God.
God bless you and command your day!!!
