Good morning and tremendous Tuesday to you! Some time ago I taught a series called the five P’s of prayer. Over the next few days I want to share them. The five Ps are a formula of sorts that helps with faith and focus.   


1.  Review of the five P's


Problem

Promise

Prayer

Praise

Participate


The second P is Promise. The word of God is rich in promises. The greatest feeling in the world to this poor preacher is that the Lord blesses us…in spite of us. 


Here is a thought. 


His promises can be specific filling particular needs that you have expressed or serendipitously perfect covering what you have not even whispered. Some of the promises are warranted and unwarranted. 


Lastly, the amazing thing is when you are His (living for Him) the magnitude of the blessings are amplified even more.

  For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. -John 3:17 Good morning and happy Monday to you!  The Lord Jesus came to this world not to condemn us, but to show us what true righteousness is. His mission had multiple purposes, and I will highlight two of them. First, we needed an example of righteousness—someone conceived without sin and who lived a sinless life. Next, because of His immaculate conception and sinless existence, He was qualified to be sacrificed. This requirement was too great for sinful man to fulfill.
