Good morning and terrific Thursday to you! Over the last few days I have been sharing from a series I taught several years ago. The five P’s of Prayer. The five Ps are a formula of sorts that helps with faith and focus.

Prayer

PRAISE

Participate


The fourth P is PRAISE. It is an essential in relationship. No healthy relationship can begin nor can it be sustained without it. 


Here is a thought.  


Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. -Hebrews 11:1


One of the most often misquoted scriptures is shown above. One word changes the paradigm, NOW. Your NOW in faith is a praise to God and as stated above no relationship can be healthy without the parties involved praising one another. 


Identifying our praise of God is easy, but how about His praise of us? Upfront let’s not get praise and worship confused. You can praise anyone or anything but worship belongs to God. 


So does God praise us? Yes He does, His first praise came in Genesis when after creating man He called His work very good! That being the first of many times He has given us encouragement via praise. 


But the lesson in this sense is after praying your belief is shown and your faith solidified by having NOW faith. So before the substance is tangible speak those things that are not as if they were!

His mission had multiple purposes, and I will highlight two of them. First, we needed an example of righteousness—someone conceived without sin and who lived a sinless life.
