Wherefore do ye spend money for that which is not bread? and your labour for that which satisfieth not? hearken diligently unto me, and eat ye that which is good, and let your soul delight itself in fatness. -Isaiah 55:2

Good morning and tremendous Tuesday to you! The beautiful scripture above is almost “Solomonistic” in terms of the value of the wisdom that it speaks.

On the surface it seems that food is the subject, but a simple tasting reveals deeper applications.

The Lord in referring to an old testament scripture in Deuteronomy saying that men should not live by bread alone teaches us that what we place value on may not have as much intrinsic value as we think. Which it in no way implies that we do not have a need for nutrition, but it is a matter of the value placed upon the substance.

We must always assess the items that we place value on and in doing so we can see the gems of loneliness that suffer from our lack of attention.

God bless you and command your day!!!
