Good morning and tremendous Tuesday to you! Beloved I have always tried to use this venue to encourage, so in the same tone please receive this thought…Choosing Barabbas…


In our world today there are so many conflicting viewpoints but given the Bible teaches us in Romans 3:4 Let God be true and every man a liar. Politics and preferences, fears and more drive many day to day decisions. 


Given all the talking heads in Washington DC, Hollywood and the many sports stars, if one doesn’t have a moral compass they’d find themselves falling on the wrong side of righteousness. Our preferences, traditions nor any other thing should usurp righteousness. 


The story that the scripture above comes from shows us the Lord being rejected because of those with a platform but without understanding of the truth or rejection of the truth saying CANCEL Jesus. 


Barabbas was known to the people to have committed murder as are many of the talking heads of the day, known to pervert truth and live in their unrighteousness as if there is no recompense.  


Beloved ultimately truth of Christ will undoubtably prevail as every knee will bow but until that time rest in His assurance that these things must come as a needed process to separate the wheat from the chaff.
