For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. -Romans 8:6


Good morning and terrific Thursday to you! 

To be carnally minded speaks of not only thoughts but every thought, which become words and words which become action. 


As often as we’ve all said that life and death resides in the tongue, the scripture above points to that which engages and presses the tongue into action, the mind. 


Beloved, thought life is the point of formation of the things which the tongue speak. Though God sees our thoughts from afar, the enemy doesn’t and relies on our spoken thoughts to plan, strategize, and employ weapons. 


The true danger of carnality is that those words which the carnal mind form pertain to death and allows no place for peace in this world or beyond. 


In the scripture we have been expressly warned to keep a clean mind, the house must be cleaned and the gates must be policed to ensure our mind will not become a place were carnality feels welcome.
