For God shows no partiality. -Romans 2:11
Good morning and TGIF! The scripture here in the original KJV says God is not a “respecter” of persons. Often we forget or omit the truth of what the scripture means.
Is it God has created a being in His image and He is now unsaying “Very Good”? No God forbid. God doesn’t have to show us respect especially given our flesh nature which is in perpetual rebellion, and it is not our flesh that He respects, it is the spirit.
In case you need a definition of what our flesh does and why God is not a respecter, please refer to what is written about the flesh and it’s work in Gal 5:19-21.
Then those works demand we respect it (hence the cultural things of today, wanting sanction). God doesn’t show favor to the things in our flesh that demands respect. The Lord’s purpose is not limited by the flesh and He caters to His purpose.
Go fellowship this weekend, we all need it.
God bless you and command your day!!!
