So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God. -Romans 8:8


Good morning and happy hump day. Those that worship God must worship him in spirit and in truth (John 4:24). 


Take note, that the flesh cannot please God. The apostle Paul in the well-known scripture above wrote and seemed to reflect back to the previous scripture reminding us to have a carnal is to embrace death and to embrace death is not life because life is only found in God. 


The flesh embraces those things are not of God fear, hate, lust, manipulation and other similar works (Gal 5:19) because the flesh wrestles against the spirit it never can receive the joy of worshiping God.
