Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. 

                -Hebrews 11:1


 Good morning and TGIF. When the English arrived on Australia the Aborignies were using this strange stick to hunt. THE English looked on with awe as they would cast forth this stick that would go forth and then return. 


The Aborigines would then go into the bush and return with collected game. These sticks were called boomerangs. 


A boomerang would strike its target and then return to the owner. Faith is like a boomerang.  When you send forth your faith it seems that nothing will happen but faith being substanative goes forth strikes your target and returns with the evidence of your blessing.


 In a sense you are casting your bread on the water, that is you are stepping out on faith so when you send your boomerang forth, you trust God that it shall not return to you void. 


Think about it. Now go and get what your faith has went forth and collected for you. 


Go fellowship this Sunday. We all need it.
