4 And the men of David said unto him, Behold the day of which the LORD said unto thee, Behold, I will deliver thine enemy into thine hand, that thou mayest do to him as it shall seem good unto thee. Then David arose, and cut off the skirt of Saul's robe privily.
5 And it came to pass afterward, that David's heart smote him, because he had cut off Saul's skirt.
6 And he said unto his men, The LORD forbid that I should do this thing unto my master, the LORD'S anointed, to stretch forth mine hand against him, seeing he is the anointed of the LORD.- 1 Samuel 24
Good morning and TGIF. I can’t recall anytime that the Lord did not reveal the heir before the incumbent was replaced.
We find this truth revealed with Moses and Joshua, Eli and Samuel, Elijah and Elisha, even John the Baptist and Christ. And though each was revealed and anointed, they waited on appointment and not just acted on the anointment.
Though you may have been anointed, heed David’s story. Until the one who was anointed and appointed completes their assignment, rest and grow in the shadow, embrace your anointment but wait for your appointment.
Go fellowship this Sunday, we all need it.
God bless you and command your day!!!
