1 I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help.
2 My help cometh from the Lord, which made heaven and earth.
-Psalms 121
Good morning and Happy Hump Day!!!
The scripture above shows David, a man after God’s own heart crying out.
David had come to the end of self, cried out saying I am looking now for my help to come from high places.
When you have given your all is a time to look for help and many times it is when we are at the end of self is when we look for help. At the point of desperation.
But when you have our God on your side you don’t have to get to this point. Nothing wrong with being at wits end and then asking for help but the Bible teaches us to present all things before God.
That means before we come to that point of saying I have done what I can. Put it before the Lord when you have an inkling of which direction trouble is coming from and what that trouble may or will be.
The process of faith is first believing God. Hebrews says that without faith it is impossible to please God. So first faith in God, and faith isn’t necessarily you have figured out how things are going to happen.
Faith can mean “Lord I don’t know how, but I am going to trust you”. When you have faith and have invoked which means to ask for God to take care of what you don’t know.
We must invoke often. Every meal, I am assuming you invoke, because the FDA can’t protect you from every virus, every bacteria.
So invoking is to cover yourself from the known and the unknown. Be as David place all your cares upon the Lord and then look with faith for Him to show in your given life circumstance.
